Crystals! So Much More Than Pretty Rocks!

I have always been pulled to crystals ever since I was a little girl. I just loved looking at all the different ones and how pretty they were; something about them just spoke to me. When I was growing up, we would visit a cave that was by my house that offered tours. I remember walking into the cave and how it got cooler and darker the further we went in. I remember looking at all the stalactites and stalagmites wondering how long they took to form, and the smoothness of some of the rocks, and just fascinated by everything around me. When the tour was over, we would go to their gift shop to pick out crystals. I remember getting excited picking out a piece of fool's gold, a.k.a pyrite, and a neat piece of raw amethyst and rose quartz. All of these stones are still in my collection today and are reminders of that time.

As I got older and grew on my spiritual path, so did my fascination with crystals. I realized that they are so much more than pretty rocks, but have many uses and can aid us with so many different things. I learned that each crystal has its own vibration, and that this vibration can be used for healing because everything is energy. You can place a crystal on or around the body, and the crystals vibration can influence your own vibration to bring balance and healing. You can even use a crystal to remove blockages within the chakras and energy body. Not only that, but each crystal has a specific energy or vibration that can be used for specific purposes as well. Crystals can even be programed with a specific intention to bring protection, abundance, strength, etc. You can even just sit with a crystal during mediation to bring its healing energy to your meditation. Actually, I once meditated with a crystal and seen a desert, mountain, and body of water. Only to find out after the meditation, that the place I was shown was exactly where that crystal was found. Pretty cool! I thought that was so neat and still remember that meditation to this day.

When working with crystals, I like to work with them intuitively. Almost like they are choosing you instead of the other way around. Sometimes you are pulled to work with a crystal that you wouldn't think you would use for that specific purpose or intention. Trust it and don't over think! There is a reason you were pulled to work with that crystal. The same goes for when I shop for crystals. I like to go to a crystal shop and just see what crystals I am pulled to. If I have a specific crystal I want to buy, I hold the ones available and pick the one that I am pulled to, or I may walk over and just know right away that is the one I need to get. I use my intuition when buying crystals. I trust that I will get the one I need and am meant to get.

likely, if you look up that crystal and what it is used for, it is the one you need at that time.
